In operation since 2016

Green View Resort is owned and managed by Green View Resort & Tours (T) Ltd, a local company headquartered in Kigoma town, Tanzania. The resort was inaugurated on the 2nd of February, 2016.

Situated on the eastern shores of Lake Tanganyika, Kigoma town boasts proximity to the renowned lake. Green View Resort is conveniently located just two kilometers away from Kigoma Airport.

Renowned for its serene ambiance and exceptional services, Green View Resort is the preferred destination for both leisure and business travelers, as well as weekend getaways. Our dedicated staff members are highly skilled, trained, and attentive, consistently surpassing guest expectations with their professionalism and warm hospitality. The resort offers spacious and comfortable rooms with expansive balconies, ideal for travelers who need to work during their stay.

In addition to its prime location, Green View Resort provides round-the-clock complimentary Wi-Fi and delectable cuisine prepared by our experienced chefs. As an excellent starting point for holidaymakers visiting Gombe National Park and Mahale National Park, which are home to gorillas, the resort offers convenient access to these natural wonders.

Moreover, we can arrange a trip to Ujiji, an ancient historical town, where guests can immerse themselves in the rich history of the slave trade and the expeditions of renowned explorers such as Dr. David Livingstone and Dr. Henry Morton Stanley. Notably, visitors will have the opportunity to witness the remarkable Dr. David Livingstone Memorial Monument.

While staying at our resort, guests can also savor the deliciously prepared Mgebuka fish, Tilapia, and Kuhe fish, sourced from Lake Tanganyika, one of the world’s largest lakes.

As part of our commitment to promoting wellness, we can organize hill hiking activities on the outskirts of Kigoma town, providing an opportunity for guests to engage in physical fitness and bodybuilding endeavors.
